Can I Have Plumper Lips That Look Natural?

Lip enhancement should give you lush-looking lips that are not overfilled or unnatural in appearance. To achieve a beautiful outcome, always have this procedure performed by a highly-skilled professional so your results appear natural. Dermal fillers can be used to achieve the following results:

  • Plump thin lips, top or bottom, or both.
  • Add volume to lips for a more sensual appearance.
  • Redefine lip shape.
  • Create a cupid’s bow upper lip.
  • Smooth lipstick lines.
  • Create a lovelier, more defined, youthful lip shape.

What Dermal Fillers are Used for Lip Enhancement?

There are several types of dermal fillers that produce excellent results in lip enhancement. The most popular and commonly administered fillers are in the Juvéderm family. These hyaluronic acid fillers feel exceptionally natural, and produce result that last for many months, based upon the specific formula chosen to achieve the enhancement you envision.

Juvéderm Ultra XC

This formula adds fullness to your lips. The added lidocaine in the product makes the treatment experience more comfortable.

Juvéderm Volbella XC

A thinner formula, Volbella can add subtle volume, and the thinner formula makes it a perfect choice for smoothing vertical lip lines in a way that appears very natural, not overfilled.

Why Are Hyaluronic Acid Lip Fillers Better?

The effects of our Peoria, IL lip augmentation with a hyaluronic acid filler will typically last in the range of six months, after which you can visit Rashid Putman Plastic Surgery for another treatment to keep your lips looking plump, full, and attractive.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by your body. Unfortunately, as the years pass, less and less is naturally generated. This acid has the amazing capacity to hold water, up to 1,000 times its weight. The beauty of a hyaluronic acid filler is that the results look and feel soft and natural – a “must” for lip plumping. These fillers can add:

  • Shape
  • Structure
  • Volume

Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Once injected, the gel in the filler supports and shapes the tissues of the lips. The benefits of using hyaluronic acid fillers include:

Control over lip volume

The amount of substance injected can be controlled, and our expert injector has great control over the volume added.

Gradual pace of treatment

The injections can be given gradually during different appointments until the desired results are achieved.

Less bruising

There is often much less bruising and swelling compared to other dermal fillers.

Lasting results

The results are reasonably long-lasting, requiring another treatment about every six months.

Allergic reaction unlikely

Because hyaluronic acid fillers are made from substances similar to what your own body produces, it is unlikely that you will experience allergic reaction.

If you are unhappy with the result, another injection can be administered that reverses the effect of the injections.
